Trainee Application Checklist

What to include when submitting your application:

1. Application form
   • Indigenous or financial bursary
2. Cover letter/letter of intent
3. Resume
   • Please refer to the 2nd AC resume template
   • Include the number of days of on-set experience (paid or volunteer)
4. Three reference letters (from within the past year)
5. Certificates of all the mandatory courses
   • You may submit proof of enrolment, registration or waitlist if you are unable to complete a course prior to submitting your application.
6. Proof of legal entitlement to work in Canada
   • Citizenship or Permanent Residency
   • Notice of Assessment (NOA)
     • The summary page only of your most recent NOA with redacted information, excluding name and address; this is to verify your residency for tax credit purposes.
7. Valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle registration and insurance;
   * A learner’s permit does not qualify
